Cartooning Workshops
Cartooning workshop with Teacher/Illustrator/Artist Steve Jepson. 2 Workshops dates:

Pencil Sketching & Painting Workshops
Learn pencil sketching and watercolour painting techniques with Teacher/Illustrator/Artist Steve Jepson.
2 Workshop dates: Friday 23rd April & Friday 30th April 9:30am - 12:00pm
Ages: 6+
Craft & Lettering Workshops
Students will create their own Art & Craft storage box and learn to use Funky Foundational (a type of Calligraphy) to decorate their box.
Monday 26th April 9:30 - 11:30am
Ages 5+
Introduction to Italic Calligraphy
Students will learn basic calligraphy skills and have the opportunity to practice these with the correct tools. Workshop by Pamela Fricker, Qualified Teacher and Member of NZ Calligraphy Society
Tuesday 27th April
9:30 -11:30am
Ages: 8+
Hands-on Multiplication & Division Workshop
Topics covered:
- What is Multiplication and Division?
- Symbols and their meanings.
- Strategies for solving multiplication and division problems. Including hints and tips for word problems.
- Times Tables and Basic Facts. Tricks for learning these. Memory exercises. Ways to practice your times tables and basic facts including fun games.
- Students will receive a booklet and other resources, summarising the key information from the workshop, including recommended websites and apps.
Maximum of 8 students
Suitable for Years 5-8+
Study-Skills & Organisation Workshop
Topics covered:
- Goal setting & planning
- Getting organised, managing time and prioritising
- Studying for retention and speed
- Note-taking methods
- Skimming and Scanning
- Preparing for tests
- Coping with stress and anxiety
Suitable for Years 9-13
