Thriving at Orange!
As you read this, please know that your child’s safety and our ability to continue to provide assistance in their education are our absolute priority and what has driven this announcement.
Thrive can open and operate at the Orange traffic light level if we follow the correct Ministry Guidelines and if My Vaccine Passes are used.
As we are a close-contact business the Ministry Guidelines stipulate that:
We can only operate if all students over the age of 12 years and 3 months are double vaccinated.
Students (12.3 years and over) and parents that are not double vaccinated and are unable to produce a Vaccine Pass will, unfortunately, be unable to enter the tuition rooms.
Everyone over the age of 12 years must wear a mask unless they have an exemption.
All staff are double vaccinated as per Ministry regulations for Education workers.
As a parent or caregiver, if you are unvaccinated and your child attends tuition, please note:
You may enter the building but not the tuition rooms. Discussions and enrolment forms will be completed in the foyer outside our rooms. (To put this in context, both the Cambridge Community and Health Centre and the Te Awa Chambers have a no-mask no entry policy for anyone over the age of 12, except for those with exemptions.)
What to do when you come to Thrive
When you arrive at tuition, please sign in using the App or the sign in sheets.
Please sanitise your hands.
We will continue to implement stringent cleaning and sanitising procedures.
We do not wish to discriminate against anyone, but for our service to be able to operate and continue, we must follow these rules. Do please contact us if this is going to be a problem for you or your child. We want to help and have other options available such as online one-to-one tuition.
Please be patient and kind to each other and our team as these are difficult times for everyone.
Wishing you all a calm and enjoyable end to the academic year. 😊
